We are now a DOUBLE DOODLE family!

We brought home Doodle #2 today! 

Little Zuzu (formal name Zuzu's Flower-bonus points if you get the movie reference) joins big brother Rooney who is 4 years old.

So far they are doing very well together but we are keeping everything very supervised and calm. Rooney has been quite gentle and restrained but occasionally shows signs of really wanting to PLAY with her and she's just too tiny still for that (he's a moose). But he's being very patient and she is accepting his gentle corrections well.

So crazy to be starting the whole puppy thing all over again!! Aaack! But wonderful too!

I was thinking the same? Does she look similar to how he did as a pup? Do you think she may get a bit curlier?

Yes! They are related! (And they do look so much alike!) Rooney's mother is Zuzu's grandmother. So Rooney and Zuzu's mom have the same mother (but different fathers- very scandalous! ;) ) I guess that sort of makes Rooney Zuzu's uncle! :)

Their coats are similar but I do think she might be a bit curlier. Her mom still has a wavy but somewhat curlier coat than Rooney. I'm also hoping she won't get as big as Rooney. Her mom is pretty little but with my luck she will take after her grandmother! :)

OMDG she is adorable.  I've had puppy fever so bad lately.  AnnaBelle was such an easy puppy.  She just followed the lead of Lucy and Honey who was here at the time.  She held her own when playing.  She wanted to play with Lucy so badly and Lucy hated her.  It was Lucy I had to watch.  AnnaBelle and Honey played like crazy.  It was probably a little easier that because of Honey's bad knees she normally played laying down, but Annabelle was relentless and just climbed all over her.  Honey gave it right back to her.  Enjoy it because it goes by way too fast.  I look forward to more pics and watching her grow up.
