What a Year, What a Year!!

Tomorrow is my birthday, I will be 39.  What a weird age to be when you are single with no kids.  I never thought I wouldn’t be married and without kiddos but such is life.  I am very blessed regardless...    Lot’s has changed and happened in the past year….Thanks to all my DK Girlfriends for being there for me!!

Sorry no photo montage but here are the highlights…    bathroom flood, bathroom reno, Ruby naughty potty dog sitting (Karen this one for you!!), Gladwyn the rescue, my hero I still love you buddy,  Happy Birthday Bandit, HOLIDAYS!!  Bathroom reno DONE!!, a visit to TX, a decision to move to TX, engagement called off, ex- fiancée diagnosed with Cancer, TX on hold, Cancer treatment starts,  old job sucks, new job starts, Cancer treatments going well, Happy Birthday Rosey!!, TX back on, house listed, house shown, Cancer treatments OVER!! Hooray!!!, house sold, pack pack pack, lot’s of goodbye’s and lots of  tears, drive drive drive,  find a house, house found, unpack unpack unpack…

Ahhhhhhh…….Life begins anew in TX, finally I am home:)

It certainly has been quite a year for you Suzann.  I think your positive attitude and confidence in knowing your own mind has made it successful for you in the end!  Way to go!  And a very Happy Birthday to you!  Quite honestly my 40's have been my best decade to date.

Happy Birthday, kiddo. Listen, 39 is a weird age to be even when you are married and do have kids, trust me on that one.

Which one is for me...naughty Ruby, or our man Gladwyn? I hope it's the latter. You saved that boy's life, Suz, all by yourself. Not many people can say that, at any age.

What a year. I imagine this one will be even better, and even bigger. After all, they say everything's bigger in Texas, right?

With a heart like yours, I'd say you landed in the right place.

wow, 2011 has been an eventful year for you for sure!!! Mine definitely hasn't been anywhere near as exciting, but I had a career change (doing what I love now!), and a few personal "a ha!!" moments!!!! Hope Texas is treating you and the doods well! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Wow, that was one crazy year. Happy Birthday to you! Next year will be amazing. I don't know if you saw my advice to Jennifer, but my challenge to you is to make a list of 40 things you want to accomplish before you turn 40 and then do them. I made my cousin do this for her 30th and she enjoyed it immensely. :)

 

I hope you are enjoying Texas and the year to come will be great - you just have to make sure of it!
