Whiskey is killing toys at an alarming rate. Toys that once lasted months ,now the new ones last 15 minutes. A “super durable” duck just lasted 25.

Tennis is balls get the fuzz torn off.

He is 10 months old and 60 lbs.

I am sure this is normal but I need suggestions for what to give him that isn’t simply throwing money away.

All help is appreciated.

I would suggest that you watch your pup when giving it chews like Nylabones.  When they get whittled down small the pup may swallow it.  This happened with Picco.  Now since he no longer has a choice he chews on his Kong with no problems.

DonMarie, did you get the heavy chewer nylabones?  Those seem to last at our house and I have heavy chewers.

No.  A couple years ago a friend gave him a regular nylabone.  It didn't get gnawed too far before I tossed it.  Once you find out they swallowed something big, you get a little nervous!

This is the one you want. It was recommended to me by JD's internist after his IBD diagnosis. She said it was the only chew object that was safe for him. They can only gnaw off teeny little pieces, the size of grains of rice, and that takes forever, even for power chewers.

Yup!

I'll have to check one out.  Thanks!
