What kind of coat does my doodle have? Any ideas?

Hello, new doodle mom here. We picked up our new baby boy two weeks ago. He is 14 weeks now. Our breeder says he has curly hair. We really can't tell. When his hair is wet or dirty it's more curly, but when it's clean and brushed it's more straight and fluffy. I am so curious what his coat will be like when he's grown, any ideas?

His coat looks very similar to my Murphy's when he was that age.  He now has a beautiful soft fleece coat that doesn't shed.  Murphy's has a little wave but no actual curl.  Your little guy is really a cutie!

Our jake had an even straighter more retriever looking cost at that age and he is 9 months now, going through his coat change. He does shed but has a nice fleece coat.
