What Kind of Dog is This?

Lately there have been lots of discussion about the mixes in our doodles and then trying to guess what kind of puppy it is that Linda (Linda and Murphy) found themselves caring for.

I was watching a recent episode of the Dog Whisperer and they had this cute little fellow, who just happened to have his DNA tested. I thought it might be fun for you to guess what his pedigree is. There are 4 breeds in the mix, one of which is really unexpected. Take your best guess and see how close you can come. Sorry, there is no prize for being the winner, just the satisfaction of knowing you are right. If anyone can get three of the four you are a genius. The pics were taken from the TV so not the greatest quality.

This is the DNA profile, thank you all for your guesses, thought it was time for a little fun. I don't think he looks like any of those but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

No way can this be accurate, now that I see the "sheepdog" part of the mix is actually a Sheltie...but that's why the dog is not large. Shetland Sheepdogs (otherwise known as Shelties) are small dogs.

I still want to know where the furnishings came from. Not from any of these breeds. Unless the "Collie" was a Bearded Collie.

Karen, I'm afraid this is going to be one of life's mysteries as I lifted this from an episode of Dog Whisperer and is all the info there is.

I think it looks like a typical cocker spaniel/ terrier and some "smosh face" (as my niece calls them)  dog mix.....Plain and simple.......I see nothing that would indicate any snipey-nosed dog such as a Sheltie or straight Collie had anything to do with the creation of this dog. It's all bull you-know-what with the DNA...Ask the doodle breeders whose F1b's came back as being anything and everything BUT Lab and Poodle when they DNA tested dogs they themselves bred.....

This is why I'm afraid to do that test on JD...I can't even imagine what kinds of crazy breeds would come back.
