or........... what else does your doodle remind you of

Spud was a hummingbird.  Always moving, jumping, bouncing around, curious, happy, and HYPER.  Fast Fast Fast.  Let's go. Let's go.  Let's go.  Attracted to colors and noise.

Starlit was an old  cranky heavy-set grandmother in a moo moo dress, probably fed children, ate as many cookies as she baked or a Sloth.  Slow, slow, slow.  So slow moss could grow on her back. With big eyes that turned and starred at your ever move --of course, she never moved.  Cute feet.
Or
Starlit was a heavy-set beautiful Opera Singer who exercised her voice in the morning.  AAAAA  Aaaaa AAAA a a a aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.  Maybe Mariah Carey's grandmother? Very serious most days about life's business.  Everything must be in order.  But in the morning she lets loose.

She sings every morning.   She has an incredible range in voice from Baritone to sophrano............

I love the descriptions, especially Starlit in her moo moo. I'll have to give mine some thought.
Murphy was a race horse....speed is his thing. His favorite game is running faster than everyone or every dog. And when he is just running, he does laps and figure 8's around me with the gait of a horse, He prances and rears up occasionally.
Or maybe a racecar driver. He loves the wind in his face.
This is a tough one, Achilles would have to have been something very clumsy. I will also have to give it more thought.
Murphy does crash a lot!
Peri was a bee...buzzzzzz
DH and I always say she is busy as a bee and just buzzes on around all over. But she doesn't have the bee's mean, stinging side :)
Porter was a food critic in his former life. I would've said goat except he is very discerning and won't consume non-food items. He thinks pretzels are too dry, "like cardboard," he told me, "and you know I only shred that sort of thing, not swallow it."
A few days ago I brought home a tray of cinnamon buns from Ikea and he exhibited a behavior he hasn't done in almost a year. He stood in front of them and moaned and grumbled and barked, all while his big lips and cheeks fluttered like some scent-sucking machine.
I also kind of think of him as the baby bird in the "Are you my Mother?" childrens book.

I love the descriptions of Spud, Starlit and Murphy...can't wait to hear about Achilles, too.
ARE YOU MY MOTHER? Love the book. Still have my copy from when I was a kid 45 years ago Geesh.

Melissa, I would love to see a video of Porter when over and about the food.
Blake was Felix Unger.....or Napolean......He alternates.....

Bella was a Bumble Bee ..Busy busy BUSY....always busy doing something...even in her SLEEP....and flitting from flower to flower but always comes back to the nest.......
Felix Unger! Love it!
I can totally see Blake as Napoleon!
Felix Unger, oh how funny.

Jackdoodle was Linderman from the movie "My Bodyguard"...big, quiet, stoic, protective, handsome in a rugged, not-very-concerned-with-hygiene way, in need of some mothering, and much more complicated than he lets on.
Prior to that, he was Mahatma Gandhi's much larger, dumber brother.
