Gave Casey a bath today.  Not too crazy about it.    she dealt with it but definitely did not love it.  Wondering if this means she won't like to swim?

She does love the snow though :0)

Finnley HATES a bath! However, if you are walking past any kind of lake or pond, you better hold on to the leash tightly, because you are going to look like a cartoon character flying in the sky, behind that leash, YIKES!
There was an incident last summer, where I was walking on a path, near the ocean in Maine. She saw an opening to the water, and bolted. It was low tide, and I was wearing flip flops. I looked like a water skier when the tread-less flip flops hit the muddy silt because it was low tide! Needless to say, Finnley got in a swim, and so did I !!   LOL

I wish someone had videoed that.   I suspect it would have had a amazing number of hits on Utube.

Ha-ha-ha, of that I have no doubt! It really amused my son and husband !

I have never personally given Orwell a bath, but the groomer said he didn't cooperate in the beginning. However, he willingly swam in the river at the end of the summer. I'm happy about this because my yellow lab wasn't real fond of the water, but I AM. Any body of water and I'm as bad as the dogs are. No one can stop me. And Orwell just follows me everywhere, so it works out.

Speaking of water and dogs it is raining here. Yup! It actually does rain in Vegas - - - occasionally!!! So I said to Hurley in an excited high voice, 'Look Hurley, let's go outside it's raining!' Said as I was pointing out the open slider. Hurley goes racing out and as soon as he felt the rain fall on him he made a quick about face back into the house. This is the same dog that goes crazy when he sees a swimming pool or lake or pond or even a kid's wading pool.
