Will YOU Decorate Your Page in the Future or Is This Contest Getting Old?

It seems participation in this last page decor contest was down from last time, yet never has participation been HUGE.  My guess is that perhaps this time there was less notice and the theme was not real easy and it was a temporary theme that would need to be changed AGAIN once the contest was over.

But I'm wondering if interest is just overall low in this particular type of contest.  If we have another Page Decoration Contest I'd like to have NO theme--where everyone can do what they like to their page. 

Would you participate?  Yes/No?

I think that it was kind of hard to really get into this contest because to do it well you really needed to change lots of what you have, but the prize won me over.

I would love to decorate my page and change it around periodically, but I just seem to have a really hard time figuring out how to do the simplest things with the profile page program. I think part of it is that you can't see what you're doing while you're doing it. But I just honestly don't understand how to do things like get images all the way down the side margins; I tried it yesterday, and you can see the results, lol. Also, I can't figure out how to know what a "theme" will look like or how colors will look when you can't see them until after you make your selections and save them. I really would have loved to have participated in this contest, I had some really good ideas, but I just can't figure out how to execute them.

If you want the side image to go all way down, you got to choose" Tile Image " on the repeat section that is right next to your photo image that you browsed and picked. ( Wow.... What kind of sentence is that.....? Do you get me?)

Except when I tried that, it only did the left hand column; I had to do "repeat horizontal" to get it in both columns. It doesn't make sense to me, I think that's why i can't figure out how to do it, lol. None of it seems logical to me.

I think it is fun. I like the seasonal theme to make DK more festive. Prize doesn't really matter to me. I ust think it's fun.
