Winter Boots

[Nugget's Family]

I know many of you have written about having Muttlucks for your doodles. We are thinking about buying a set for Nugget for her winter walks due to the salt on our roads. I looked though the JB Wholesale catalog today and saw that they carry the Muttlucks. They also carry boots that are much less expensive. Are the Muttlucks really that much better? Has anyone had any success with boots that weren't quite so super deluxe?

Jack has to wear the "all-season" version at the dog park, because of his foot problems. They are the best IMO. I have a review here on DK in the "Reviews" section, and photos and video of him wearing them. (Although one did come off in the video.) I have put them through the wash and they were fine, too. They also make a winter version that's warmer.

I have seen this video ( Loved hearing your voice also--sounds like you were from the East Coast ). I understand your reasons, but I never thought there were enough reasons for me to purchase boots. Ah Hah. See, I learn something everyday. Really wish we had some today. But by tomorrow we will need a really big sled so maybe I will just go BIG this time.
