Just got this article sent through Dogster: http://blogs.dogster.com/living-with-dogs/simone-reyes-talks-to-us-... and it reminded me of a discussion we had in yappy hour on Friday. A number of us were on chat trying to convince Dori that she needed to get a Rua tattoo to mark the beginning of the next chapter of her life. (Hmmmm maybe the new KangaRua logo??) Mind you it was easy for us liquor soaked cheerleaders to urge her on ;) I recall someone on DK (can't remember who) has paw prints tattooed on her ankle or foot. So what do you think DKers - to tattoo or not to tattoo - that is the question!

HaHaHa, BG. I was the one who said I really wanted a "tasteful" little paw print on my ankle....but I was afraid my kids would disown me and I wasn't sure how well it would go over in the old age home. But I think you're right....I think someone said they already have the pawprint tat....just can't remember who or where it was placed.
I would consider it if it was small and inconspicuous. I think Dori should definitely get one to mark the beginning of her new life.
I am REALLY thinking about it. When I go to CA, I will check into it. It would be something to do with Rua...what should it be?
Um...how about the logo, lol? Minus the lettering.
Yes! The logo!
lol just be aware that black ink hurts the most! I have a lady bug tattoo on my back and the red I didn't feel at all but the black hurt! The tattoo guy said for some reason, something to do with the black ink is more painful than other colors!
You know, back in my gym days, I toyed with the idea of getting a small tattoo on the back of my shoulder. My problem was that I couldn't think of anything I was absolutely sure I would never tire of having on my body. I mean, talk about permanent!
But I do know I would never get sick of having anything that reminded me of JD.
Hmmmm......
Karen, when you come to visit we'll do it together!!!
I don't have that buff body I was always showing off any more, though. I'll have to think of another place to put it!
OMD, flying and needles...this is going to be one scary trip! You better have a lot of refreshments on hand! And bake me a pie, too!
OMD if you guys go through with this you have to PROMISE to post pictures of you both at the tatoo parlour! That will be one for the books for sure!! Maybe we should send Laurie along to blog and take photos of the occasion.
PROMISE.....there will be pictures.
