On Being 30 & 40 something...

What has surprised you most about being in your 30's and 40's? One thing for me is that outside of the physical changes-I feel much less different than I imagined I would as an adolescent and young adult! I really did think I would have many more answers, and be much more mature than I actually find myself. I saw on Yahoo this week an article by "Live Science" that said our personality is pretty much determined by 1st grade-and I believe it. I am basically very much the same. Minus all of the experience and trips around the block.....and, how have these surprises impacted your doodles?
