New Golden Doodle Owner in Michigan

Hello Michigan Doodle fans. We will be picking up our first mini (small) golden doodle (F1) on Friday Aug 21st. I was looking for others in the area to chat with. We are getting our puppy from a breeder in Swartz Creek, MI called Michigan Doodles. Has anyone else purchased puppies from this breeder?

I'm also looking for pictures of older golden doodles maybe even small or mini F1s? I'd love to see what an adult doodle looks like. I've posted a couple of pictures we took yesterday when we met our puppy. We haven't settled on a name yet but are leaning towards Maddy.

Hi! We have a 13 week old Goldendoodle...so fairly new at the puppy thing. It seems as though we rounded the corner and things are going great! We are in love with him. We named ours Chewie (Chew Chew) but almost did Teddy. Sounds like your will be a girl?

Yes we will be getting a girl puppy. She is a F1 and is suppose to be small, any where between 35 and 45 lbs. The mom was a golden at 55 lbs and the dad was a mini poodle at 19 lbs. I've always loved goldens but they were always too big of a dog for me and had too much hair so I'm hoping (after all the research that I've done) that she will be the perfect fit. I don't personally know any golden doodles so I am very curious what they will look like at 5 years through the rest of their life. I live in Macomb Township, about 1 mile away from the new dog friendly Partridge Creek Mall.

Good luck with getting a small doodle, mine was supposed to be 50-60 lbs max, Murphy is 100 pounds...more doodle to love:o)
