A couple of weeks ago I rode the Jamestown/Scotland Ferry to go to Williamsburg, VA. It was quite windy and the river was very choppy with whitecaps. The bow of the ferry would hit a wave and the water would come up and over the car in front of me and give my car a good shower. If you look close you can see the whitecaps. (Photo take with my tablet.)

Unfortunately the river is tidal there and I had to was the salt water off my car when I got home.

Interesting, what did you do?

Water over a dam. ISO200, 1/160 sec., f14, 275mm. The dam was about 200 feet away with a chain link fence though which I had to shoot.

I thought it was some sort of special effect! So very neat. It has a surreal look.
