DJ gave me the only suggestion this go round. Let's all to something different photographically. Make a collage or something else interesting with your images. Or turn your image into black and white. Or either in camera or in editing go for special effects. The subject(s) are poster's choice.

Thank you, Anne

DJ, You find beauty all around you. Great job!!

Thanks, Laurie.

I rarely use my flash during the daylight hours and especially when the sun is shining directly on my subject, but that's exactly what I tried with these sunflower shots at the Trapp Family Lodge gardens up in Stowe, Vermont, this past weekend.

These sunflowers are great but I'm not sure the flash helped.

These are beautiful!  If it was windy it would have helped.  Sunflowers really sway in the wind.  I love the first image.

I think that the flash helped to eliminate some of the shadows that darkened parts of the flowers' centers. And it was windy. I'm interested in knowing why the flash would be helpful in a windy situation in the sunlight.

Flash freezes the action giving sharper detail.

Wow.  Gorgeous sunflower pictures.   I am sure the flash brought out extra details.

These are beautiful!
