I can see your images just fine!
It is the oddest thing and just started with the last few images I have posted. I can see everyone else's just fine.
Sometimes cold is the story, but sometimes removing the color lets you see the emotion within the image with more clarity - at least that's how I think of it. Two candids of Finn…
Here the colors definitely competed, but I liked the serendipity of the moment -- the dog, patiently waiting for me to finish cleaning out a bookcase, "passed out" on some of the books and I laughed at the ones he chose.
and this is one of my favorites… taken with a camera phone by a friend, the sweetness of this moment was almost lost in a corner of the room so I cropped way in, went to b&w and added some contrast. Still have a lot to learn, so any advice welcome, but I really love b&w.
I love black and white exactly for the reasons you given. I love the light in the third one, and Finn with snuggling up with "Animals in translation" is great. But my fav may be the first one--its all about "the look" and that is captured so well in this image.
Thanks DJ! Whoops, "cold" was supposed to be "color" -- wish my mac would stop thinking for me :)
Cheryl, I love the first one!
Thanks Lonnie, I love that one of Libby too!
Thanks F!
I think you are right, Cheryl. It is like black and white cuts to the chase. These are all great.
Thanks Nancy.
