Ok, I ventured out this morning and took a couple of pictures and had DH take one of me.  Still snowing a bit here.  Enjoy!  :)

We got hammered in Milwaukee. Nobody is going anywhere anytime soon. the poor dogs can't get more than 4 feet into the yard. Can't ever remember a storm like this. We got somewhere around 15'' or more.

Ahhh soo beautiful.  There is a calmness to all the white.  But only when you can sit and enjoy it.  I hope that you and yours can stay home and not venture out ntil it's over and done with and the roads are safe.  My your house not be affected either!

We had that about a week ago, have fun shoveling. last night we got hit by an ice storm, but it was not as bad as it was predicted.

Thanks, Nancy. I can hear those ice cycles crashing to the ground as they melt. It is 40 degrees at almost 10PM. I'm loving this. Snow, ice, go away!

WOW, would love to visit but not sure i could do that for the long turn. I grew up in LA so that pretty much says it all, we feel like Oregon is cold

We are on our 8th winter storm so far. It has been a crazy year for snow in NJ. Can't wait to see what summer will be like. So tired of wearing these heavy clothes, I'm a beach baby, so are my doods. They LOVE the snow too though. It's pretty, but will be glad when it is gone. I can hear the ice sliding off our roof as I wrote this. Not a good day for human or beast if you are outside.

We lucked out and dry air and sleet pushed the snow past us quicker than anticipated so we only got about 6".  Boy, am I glad we didn't wake up to what you did this morning!  (Although I would love to see the doodles romp in it.)  Be careful whenever you decide to venture out.
