Does anyone have any suggestions of which book might be best to help figure out Photoshop 7?

I bought the Photoshop For Dummies book...it was okay, but not great. I also subscribed to Photoshop Elements Techniques online. Each month I get a booklet that has lots of great information. I can also go to the site and search to get answers to any questions I have. The most helpful though is an online course I'm taking through a local community college. It cost $99, and it is fantastic. I'm a little over half way through, and I've learned so much. There are lessons, assignments and quizzes, with online availability of an instructor if you have questions. If this is offered in your area, I would highly recommend it.
Thanks.
Photoshop has soooo many free tutorials available online. I have some REALLY GOOD links to tutorials that I frequestly use. I use CS4 but I'm sure they can be easily adapted to PS7 or you can probably find the same available online for PS7. (I will look on this computer later but they may be on my work computer . . .)
Thanks.
I don't actually have any books on Photoshop 7 other than Photoshop 7: Photographer's Guide by David D. Busch. I really have not used it. My first class was in PS 5.5 and then when I re-took the class the next semester we were learning PS 6.0. That is the program I know best and all my books are PS6 but I bet you could find the same books in PS7 if you went to Amazon. My son-in-law sent me a copy of PS7 so that is why I have it. There are some things different in it but it doesn't matter because I only know at the very most maybe 50% of the program!! Here are the books that I have in PS6: The Photoshop 6 Wow! Book by Daton Davis, Photoshop 6 Photo-Retouching Secrets by Scott Kelby, Photoshop 6.0 Down & Dirty Tricks by Scott Kelby, Photoshop 6 Visual Insight by Ramona Pruitt and Joshua Pruitt.

Basically, you can work in probably PS 5.0-7.0 and use any of the books. There isn't much difference in the programs that I am aware of.
Any of these you prefer?
Like Joanne said the "Classroom" books are good. I had forgotten all about them. As I recall that is what I used in my first class years ago! I guess from the ones I listed above if I were to only buy one it would be the "Photoshop 6 Visual Insight".
Thanks.
I bought the Photoshop Elements 6 program and took a three night class on it. I felt totally stupid!!! The entire program is just not user friendly to me. I am so much a PS 6 or 7 person that even the look of the main screen had me confused. Plus, you have to sort of think backwards to know which screen you are in. It totally is not intuitive to me at all. But I guess I am an Ol' Dog that doesn't want to learn new tricks???

Also, I have tried a few tips that have come across the DK comments from people who have one of the CS versions. You might be able to get the same end result but the step by step instructions that people have so kindly posted just don't work or exist in the same manner. Any of the tutorials or magazines I see today are based on the CS version. PS6 or 7 is old news! I guess you could Google tutorials specifically for the specific version you have though. I feel like Photoshop is like when you go to your local grocery store and they have re-arranged every aisle!!!! Sometimes I hate change! lol
The change part, you and me both. The supermarkets do it intentionally I think so you stumble upon things you really didn't come in to buy. I don't know how to use photoshop at all but if the old tricks work don't change them.
ONLY 3 nights! Ehhhg. It is impossible to learn the program in 3 nights so don't kick yourself or feel stupid. I did 4 months and I still am soooooooooooooooo confused.
I made a copy of Elements 6 and gave it and all my tutorial books to Ned and Nancy!!!! Though she hasn't had a chance to even turn a page. After all, she doesn't use the camera manual so I guess a tutorial book would be out of the question. lol
