Some of you have shown interest in this camera that sandy b first turned me on to in the "Discussion of Zoom Lenses" discussion.  sandy b and I both purchased this camera.  Mine came to day.  Here are a few right out of the camera shots from this afternoon/tonight.

These are great! Love the 'gator too.
Tks Anne. It was so nice to walk thru the Refuge with a small camera and not have my shoulders hurting!!

If I still lived in Miami I would be there every weekend. You are so fortunate.

Anne, we've been here about 15 yrs and even though it gets crazy busy this time of year I wouldn't trade it for anywhere else. I love sharing this place with all the wildlife!

This little wren seems to be sticking around here this year.  I think it is a Carolina Wren.  This morning it perched on the shepherds hook outside the kitchen window.  Did a little Topaz Clarity but no sharpening or noise.

I find I am getting shots that before this camera I usually missed because the wrong lens was on the DSLR.  Also the 1200mm lens brings things in so close.  I still shoot with my Nikon but only with small light weight lenses.

Very nice Anne. I love all the detail you were able to capture with the zoom. Amazing!

Thanks sandy b.  I was surprisedat how well it turned out considering I was shoot through 2 window glasses, both very old, scratched and dirty.

I didn't realize you were shooting through 2 window glasses!! These are so clear!

I was pretty excited to have captured the two previous wren images; however, this afternoon the wren posed for me!  (This is right out of the camera>)
