It occurred to me that holiday pictures and all that bokeh lend themselves to great examples of how depth of field can change an image. So show us some examples. Of course straight holiday shots and doodles always welcome. And just for a surprise this is a day early! Happy holidays all.

I need to read the tutorial on depth of field.  Good for you to make me re-learn something that I have forgotten.

And I've never been able to photograph holiday lights well and so now I have an excuse to practice!

Good assignment. I will try my best to make this happen!

Been out of commission - laptop failed! Yikes.  Ipad just doesn't quite cut it for me.  My new laptop arrived and I am now bearable to be around!  I get a little grouchy without laptop and DK!  Looking forward to this assignment!

Nice idea.  I will try.

A Lensbaby Christmas from a couple of  years ago.

Interesting perspectives.
Thanks F.

Lovely, Anne.  I love the distortion introduced by the lens.  The ornaments are adorable.

Thanks DJ. I find the Lensbaby a fun lens. Jane (Murphy and Guiness ) is real good with the LB, me just average. : (

Nice job, Anne!

Thanks Laurie.
