Okay, here is a question.  Some of our cameras have a Diopter setting.  I am not sure what the manual is saying.  Do we adjust the setting with or without wearing our glasses?  And then do we shoot wearing them?  I would have to because I can't see otherwise!!Aside from using a Diopter setting, wouldn't it seem that those of us who wear corrective lenses just might not get as clear of a shot as those who don't wear them?  OK, maybe not because our corrective lenses are supposed to correct us to 20/20 but if you wear progressive lenses then you might not see the subject as clearly as a person without corrective lenses.  Somehow I feel like I am not wording this correctly.  Is this making any sense at all?

This makes sense because I wear progressives and I KNOW that I do not see as well as someone not wearing glasses. I once took an entire roll of film of the sea otters in Morro Bay and the entire roll was blurry:(
There must be an answer for us. I can't believe that all photographers in the entire world don't wear corrective lenses!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Adjusting the diopter won't affect how the camera takes the photo. IT sees the object clearly - we just need to help YOU see it clearly, too. So, put your glasses on... let the camera autofocus on an object... adjust the diopter until it's in focus for you... and then you're good to go!

NOTE: If you share your camera with someone, such as a friend or spouse, unless they can see clearly thru your glasses they will probably need to re-adjust the diopter. Simply make a mental note of your setting so that it's not a big deal to change it back and forth.
