Every month participation in our monthly assignments go down. I am as guilty as anyone but I do at least submit something. Do people want this continue?. Can you come up with ideas? Have we done it all?

I hope it continues! I finally bought a new camera a couple weeks ago and was looking forward to participating again. (I can't believe it's been 4 YEARS since I've held a camera in my hand! Where does the time go?!)

It is hard to believe. So come up with suggestions and your old enthusiasm.

I like Carol's or Anne's suggestion of using "Light" as our June topic.  :)

Yaaaa Linda!     Your photos were my inspiration to get into photography!

You are so sweet to say that Carol! *hug* I absolutely LOVE your photos!!!! :)

Thank you Linda.    That really means a lot to me...coming from you!

I can't believe you quit taking pictures.  One of my all time favs is the one you snapped of your grandchildren peeking at some cookies.

haha! That was a funny photo, indeed. My grandkids have grown up so much since I last posted! Jake is 13 now, and several inches taller than me. Jenna will turn 10 in June. Both are still as sweet (and as red-headed) as ever. lol! :)

Hi Linda, It's so good to see you. Your photograpy was so wonderful it's hard to believe you haven't been taking photos. I seem to have lost my photography mojo but I'm sure hoping to get it back soon. I had my camera sensor cleaned by a professional but my pics seem to be seem to be off since then. I think I've dumped every pic I've taken in the last two months. I'm not sure if it's the sensor or me and I really need to get out and test it.

I am certainly looking forward to seeing your work again.

Thank you for the warm welcome! To be perfectly honest, we hit a really rough patch a few years ago with our family business when the economy took a nose dive. I had to sell all of my photography gear to help make ends meet. It took much longer than anticipated to get back on our feet, but things are finally better. Best of all, we live right across the street from our daughter/son in law/grandkids now, and my 86 year old mom, who is such a joy to be around and is so young at heart, lives with us. We all get along well. No drama. It's really nice having four generations of family to share laughter and fun with.  :)

I am delighted that things are better. Mom still gardening?

Thank you. :)  She has some seedlings coming up for peppers and chard in our backyard. Yum! :)
