This month we can have a potpourri of images, well, don't we always in the end? Really let's see anything you want, things that inspire you, dogs, flowers and in honor of DJ, junk: ) It's spring, time to be free and frolic.

OMD...I worked on that darn left side. On the texture shot, I actually did two textures. I started with one called Plaster and ended with an all over green one. Right under the top leaf, the texture had a brighter spot, but I kind of like the antique-y look it gives the shot. The middle shot...is through Topaz..a painting effect. Top was just brightened a bit.

I hope you don't mind me pointing it out. I know I would want to have people tell me but not sure everyone feels that way. Sometimes things just jump out at me, sorry. But I do love that last one so....

Nope, I don't mind at all but if you ever do it again, I will call you a bad name!! I think it is that one leaf that is drawing your attention there. I thought maybe it was too dark. I like playing with those textures, so I may go back to it. I usually don't like textures on my dogs, but I did like the effect.

No the area I am talking about is the left side of Vern's head, i.e. the right side of the picture.

Well, I had that all wrong :) Oh, I see....you don't like the texture blending into his head...is that right? I did that on purpose to get that effect. I just redid the other side. LOL I think I like it better without that lead either way. I also did not save my layers....I know that is bad.

OK, here is another version with the ear fixed. I think I like it brighter.
