I thought some of you might enjoy a peak at Nepal through the images below.  In the short time I had for photography, I focused mostly on candid "street shots."  Unfortunately overcast skies kept the beautiful mountains and landscapes of Nepal out of view.

I was just thinking DJ about how lucky you were to have not been in Nepal during this huge tragedy. I hope someday things return to normal there.

The village where I took most of these photos was a world heritage site and many temples were destroyed and many lives lost. So sad. It will be difficult for this country to recover, with extreme poverty already, ineffective and often corrupt government, and loss of tourism revenue for at least this tourist season. Thankful all the people I know there are safe.
