September Asssignment Potential Calendar 2017 Photos

This is for photos you are thinking of submitting for the Calendar and that you would like to show us. If you want more detailed critiques and/or editing help I have started another discussion for that. I know there will be overlap and possibly a mish mash but we can handle that. Don't forget to check the guidelines.

I'm stating early because the calendar submissions need to be in by 9/22. seems like the submission period gets shorter every year.

Remember that vertical shots only go on the multiple doodles per page calendar. If you want a chance at a full page you need horizontal shots.

I think this is ok since she is not shaved to the skin. What do you think?

She looks fine. I wouldn't count this as shaved at all. The pose isn't great. It's usually best not to shoot from above the dog.

Charlie is NOT too young.  He is adorable.  You need to make sure that your photo could be 8 x 11 landscape - think calendar size.

hey guys!  here are some photos of Twyla that I'm thinking of submitting.  I know she's now SUPER defined in the snow one, but I just love the composition.

I think the snow one has far too little focus on the dog and we can hardly see her face. The second one also hasas problems with the fCe obscured by lighting.

How about this picture? Is Charlie too young for the calendar? He's 14 weeks now, but this picture was taken a week or so ago.

Adina specifically excludes pups under 8 weeks so this should be OK. Nice shot.

This is a cute photo of Charlie.  I think I am partial to all "Charlies" since I have one too! LOL

I recall some years there have been 3 calendars (labradoodles, goldendoodles & puppies).  I do not know at what point Adina decides.
