I had ordered a tunnel last weekend and just got it Friday. It is 18' long and has a carrying case and stakes to hold it down. Obviously I can't stake it in the house! LOL I will make weights to hold the ends in place later.
She freaked at first with the tunnel just up in the living room...everytime I moved it, she would run. But I just left it up and let her get used to it. Then, yesterday late afternoon, I scrunched it up to about 8' and leaned it against furniture to keep it steady.
While she was watching, I threw two good-sized pieces of freeze-dried liver treats into the tunnel and sat back and let her figure out what she needed to do. After a few minutes, she tentatively entered the tunnel. I praised her and she went right to the treat and ran out the other end! Yeah Rua. She was at one end now, and I was at the other, and I called her and she went in, got the treat and came out.
From there, I went up to the tunnel with a treat, and said "tunnel" while I passed the treat above her head over the tunnel, and away she went. Did that a few times and added "table", then put the jump bar in place, and away we went.
