This morning was Rooney's 2nd beginner class and this time DH was in town and got to come watch.  After having a sniffy issue last week, I arrived a few minutes early, got set up and then let Rooney run the fenced arena so that he could get the sniffing out of his system.  The cue would be that once the leash was back on - the sniffing was over.  Imagine our suprise when we let Rooney off his leash and he started doing jumps, running to "table" and jumping the tire without prompting.  LOL.  His instructor was laughing as he was just having a gay ol time.  We leashed back up and class got started and he kept the sniffing to a minimum this week, good boy.  We started training on the A frame, cat walk and poles.  We are traing to "target" on the A frame and cat walk and I have to tell you - my little guy rocked it!  Rooney's class today was a 2 year old Australian Shepard (who is totally un-trained - drags the owner around, won't do a sit, stay) and a 2 year old German Shepard (who is highly trained but somewhat vicious acting).  By the end of the class Rooney did a jump, jump, tire, jump, table w/stay.  He was the only one who did it totally free of my control (leash dragging).  I know nothing about agility but Rooney seems to love it so I hope that we are welcome to be here and learn from all of you!!!!

Great picture....glad you had a good class.

This looks like a really nice agility training setup.  We are in a building...it is not a huge space.  Rooney rules!  All other dogs there better watch out...he is going to surpase them all.
Yay! Go Rooney!!
