We are 3 weeks away from finally picking up our puppy from Almond Blossom Doodles, and I was just wondering if people found that the traits found during the puppy temperment testing were consistant with the personalities of their adult dogs? I don't know how we will possibly choose from all those cute pups!

Hi, Bailey is from the Micah and Tula March litter...will be 2 this March. His temperment evaluation was right on...great with kids and very submissive. He was a handful at first but we could not ask for a better dog....we are in Love with this boy :) Rona B has his brother...he is very cute too!!
Hi Jill!
Bailey is adorable! I can really see the family resemblance! did you see the family album Azure put together? Check it out! Thanks for the information about the temperment testing! Only 3 more days until we get to pick out our pup!
You know, I spent the first 50 minutes of our hour to pick totally playing with the pups and was completely unable to pick. And asking Julie questions about temperament. And still had not a clue. I came in wanting a female and if not that, a larger male. But #1 priority was good family dog, since I have an active 16 month old. Julie did help us to weed out the ones she thought were too timid to be in a loud active household, but in the end, I was like "oh crap, we only have 5 minutes!" And by looking at coat, and faces, we ended up with one of the smallest males. Julie thought he might be a bit mellow for our household and since he's small, might not be the outdoorsy dog I wanted (I like to jog, hike, camp, swim, travel), but so far, he is plenty playful with my son, not too shy, and also really sweet and mellow at times. So, I think he is a good fit even though he wasn't what I was looking for initially, and wasn't one of the recommended ones for our household. But we love him to pieces already and think it's going to work out just fine. So, really, the only thing I really weeded out for was the two that you could tell were timid (approached with tail between legs, ran from my son, etc.). And don't expect to choose based on which one is cute. They were all super cute! That said, we did like Omni's face a lot. Hope this helps!
When we first decided to get a dog I really thought I would end up with a small, curly female. My kids picked Alma - the largest, straightest furred female from the litter. Of course, my husband and I completely agreed with the pick. Her personality is soooo sweet and she totally won all of us over.
Hi Jill! So that means Baily is Kachi's brother as well!! Welcome to the group!!
