How do I contact Almond Blossom Doodles?

Hi,

 

I would like to adopt a golden doodle from Almond Blossom Doodles, since I've read such great reviews on this website, but they have not responded to my e-mails.  My husband and I have sent 6 e-mails over the past two to three months from two different accounts.

 

Is there a better way to reach them?  Is there a phone number where they can be reached?

 

My husband and I have gmail accounts and I'm afraid that maybe their webmail does not accept gmail messages.  

 

It's very strange and frustrating.

Almond Blossom came very highly recommended from numerous people and I haven't heard anything bad about their dogs, puppies, etc.  Everyone who has ever gotten a dog from them has glowing reviews.

 

The only negative experience I've had is their poor communication, which was a pretty big problem for us because we almost had to wait another 3-4 more months to get a puppy from a different litter, which would have completely thrown off our timing (timing was important because I'm able to take some time off of work to raise our puppy).  In the end everything worked out.  We were a little disillusioned because after reading different recommendations we were encouraged to pick a breeder in CA, but given the circumstances we were forced to expand our pool.  In end we decided to go with Paw Pad Poodle in Illinois because they had litter that was ready to go home in a couple of weeks - making our timing work out nearly perfectly.  We now have Ollie who is everything and more than we hoped for.  So in the end maybe everything just worked out for the best.

 

My only recommendation for Almond Blossom is that get a firm confirmation regarding the pregnancy and your position on the wait list - otherwise look for another litter and maybe even breeder.  We were on a wait list for a pregnancy that didn't take, but they didn't notify us for months - despite my husband and I sending half a dozen polite e-mail inquiring about the take-home date and when we had to be paid in full.  In the end we finally received an e-mail from them after they noticed this discussion thread.

 

We were very saddened and disappointed when we discovered that the pregnancy hadn't taken, since we really wanted a puppy fro Lily/Micah or Lily/Casey.  Luckily, everything worked out for the best and now we have Ollie, so we don't feel any ill feelings towards them.  I'm sure it was just an unlucky fluke.
