I got an email from Shelly yesterday about their possible doodle litters this summer available approx July/August!! We are so excited and can hardly stand it!!!! I called Shelly to confirm that we are for sure on the waiting list so I just need to wait to hear from her.

 

So the 2 pairings that they hope to breed for this summer is Anja/ Casey and Tula/Micah. Are there any doodle parents out there that has a puppy from an Anja/Casey pairing? We have seen the puppies from Tula/Micah but never from Anja/Casey. It will be so hard to decide!!

Anne, out of curiosity - do you know what litter of Tula/Micah litter is Monty from? How old is he?

Not Mochi's littermate for sure because all males from same litter are already here on DK.

Not sure his exact age--around 2, I think. They got him when he was around 8 or 9 months. Someone returned him to Almond Blossom (too much work) and they just happened to be inquiring about a dog and decided to take the older puppy.

This is interesting....When I was there at the end of Oct 2008 they had a dog that someone returned because he was too much work. I even have a photo of him because I loved his coat which is exactly like Lucca's!! If he is 2 and born in March 2008 he is Toby (Debbie) and Kachi's (Liza) brother. If he is 17 months he is Lucca's brother (amongst others!!). I hate to ask you but could you find out his birthday? Are they on Doodlekisses? Do they live on the Peninsula like we do? All of us are always looking for littermates. Hopefully I'm not being too noisy:) Thanks

If the puppy Carla met was Monty then he must be Kachi's brother!! how exciting!!!

Hopefully Monty's daddy/mommy will join DK too! can't wait!!

Tula had 10 pups in the March 08 litter- 2 girls and 8 boys!!! It would be sooo crazy if Monty is another brother! 3 new siblings in 2 weeks!! Yay!

I'd like to know if Monty was more work than Mochi, I thought I've got the most troublesome puppy.

But I'm sure all the work will be paid off, Mochi is a very sweet boy now and we love him more and more each day!!

Anne, what is Rosie's birthdate? Is she a littermate to Hadley & Milly? I think they were born in June 2009 from the same parents.

Rosie was born June 2009 from Estee and Casey. She's a littermate to Milly, younger sister to Hadley!

The biggest differences might be the coat colors. Anja is a golden retriever that is half American and half English, so she's darker gold in color, and Casey is a miniature poodle that is dark red in color, so their puppies will probably be those colors (golden and apricot). Tula is a golden retriever that is full English, so she is a very light cream color, and Micah is an almost white miniature poodle, so their puppies are usually very light colors. I don't know any in this group who have parents specifically from that pairing, but there are a few from Casey. It might help to look at some of those. These are the ones that I'm aware of:

Hadley, Milly and Rosie are from Casey (red colored Miniature Poodle) and Estee (cream colored English Golden Retriever). London's parents are Casey (red colored Miniature Poodle) and Aspen (apricot colored F1 mini English Goldendoodle).
