Well, herer's effort #2 . . . my neighbor (at Eagle Lake) loves feeding and watching the birds as much as we do! When we were there over the holidays, this pint-sized Downy Woodpecker spent several days visiting our feeders. We had the best time watching him and I, of course, was snapping photos. I decided to try to paint his photo and give it to my neighbor as a winter memory. This painting is way over worked because it was much more challenging than it looked . . . I would up finishing back in Photoshop with the addition of angled edges . . . He looks ok framed.
