What art medium(s) do you enjoy working in?

I'm primarily a mixed-media artist. I begin most of my paintings in Photoshop and Corel Painter, using a Wacom tablet. I love to hand-embellish my canvas Giclees with acrylics. 

I've recently become interested in sumi-e painting. I've picked up some brushes and painting books and tutorials. It's FUN but it's a lot harder than it looks... only because I'm not a "natural" at it. ha!

Wow, I don't even know the mediums you listed above. Now you have my curiosity. I suppose I am a simpleton that prefers a pencil sketch and water colors.

Typically I draw with whatever I have in my hand. I do enjoy the challenge of portraits although I only draw them when the subject does not know I am drawing them.

I have painted or drawn my animals over the years and stuffed them somewhere in a book or box.

You have a great idea for a group. You have inspired me to draw my animals tonight. It has been a long while ...... :)

With computer art I do love and use Adobe Illustrator as much as I can

Hi Joanne! I'm so excited you joined our new group. I can hardly wait to see your drawings, along with samples someday of what you can do with Adobe Illustrator. I've never used that program.

Illustrator is basically the same as Corel--complicated :) but fun.

That's all I need - another program to get addicted to - ha! I'd better stick to Photoshop and Corel Painter for now. But, I'd love to see what you do with Illustrator.

Careful... we might need to put a poetry group together if you keep that up! lol! Actually, it DID cross my mind to put together a Writer's group on here. I wonder how many doodlers enjoy writing?
