Just in case anyone hasn't seen it, here is a link to the website with the information about the ALD name change. :-)

Laura, I followed your story about poor Andie two years ago, and I was so happy for you and your family when you found Ruby. Now, I'm so glad to see you've added Sam, too!
Thanks so much for sharing your story. I know it was painful to experience and difficult to tell.
It is so important for people to understand what pain and suffering irresponsible breeding can cause to a dog and its family.
Hi Elizabeth, I've been M.I.A. for last few weeks as we've just moved from Sydney, Australia to Ft Lauderdale and now finally arrived in our final destination of San Francisco-- all with the two kids and two doodles--
Anyway, thank you for you kind note-- the trauma of the Rutland Manor situation was awful for our family and I can only thank our lucky stars that we now have two healthy, well-tempermented doodles who are amazing gifts for our family.
I hope anyone considering Rutland Manor takes all the bad press very seriously, because there would not be this much talk if it wasn't all true. Very sad for all those poor dogs she's breeding in her mystery facility....
All the best, Laura
Yes, I think my ALD is also part kangeroo. He is so active and loves attention. I had him in obedience classes, agility classes, and finally even swim class at the rehab facility. He just bounces from one thing to another and takes it all in stride. He is fearless and loves, loves, loves wrestling. If he can get another dog to wrestle with him, then he feels that his day has been a success. He is very mouthy, but a soft mouth. He would not make a good therapy or service dog because he is so mouthy and loves to chase (anything that will run). Doesn't matter, I adore him and he is a pet. I would never breed dogs and was sad to hear about TP and RM. Yes, all of my ALDs background is Tegan or Rutlands.
