Hardly any black GDs in the 2013 calendars

Anyone else notice that? What's up with that...

I think I counted maybe 4 or 5 total in both the Goldendoodle and All Doodles calendars.

I submitted about 4 photos of Bo and I made sure I followed the suggestions and instructions well. It just seems that the cream, white and apricot colored doodles get the most exposure on Doodlekisses, especially in the calendars. I wonder if part of the reason is that black is not one of the more popular colors for a doodle. Anyway, I'm not spending $20 on a calendar full of cream colored doodles, but the photos are nice. I admit I'm a lil irritated.

I am sorry if what I stated seemed like an accusation.

It was only an observation.

I think Adina did a great job on the calendars and there are many beautiful Doodles in all of them.

I too have a black and a cream colored Doodle and know that the cream colored Doodles are much easier to photograph and are more common.

I myself will try with more photos next year.

Well now that the controversy of the black doodles in or in this case NOT in the calendar this year has died a bit, I'd like to comment.

I sent in a single picture of Finnley. However, I had absolutely no idea what the crew that put the calendar together was looking for in a pic, OR what kind of spectacular pictures I would be up against. All I can say is well done ! There were 3 beautiful calenders put out.

My goal now is to persevere, and get that special photo of Finnley for next year, heck maybe two ! My black doodle and I accept the challenge !
