any authors?

   Has anyone been writing any books?  Do you plan on getting them published?  Sometimes we have to write a short story in class, so I was wondering if anyone has done the same,  but made it a big story instead of a short one?  if so, and i don't want to copy any ideas of books, con you post a tidbit of it?  We are a group formed around books, so why not ones that aren't published?
