This one might be more for the DK ladies out there!  Thought I would share a list of some of my favorite  beach read / Chick Lit  type authors and see what others would suggest!  I am always looking for new authors to read.

Well, I don't know your list of authors, but my favorite authors tend to be more along the line of historical fiction, and I love time travel, witches, vampires, and things along that line.  So, there are many books by Diane Galbaldon, Deborah Harkness, and Kate Morton.  They have rather a "female" flavor.  I also read Lee Child (Reacher books) and David Balducci for a more masculine touch.  Love Paulo Coelho (metaphysical) and Dean Koontz (mystery).  Just finished another Odd Thomas book by Koontz and I even liked the Frankenstein series.  If I like a book, I tend to read whatever else I can find by that author.  There is so much out there and I am glad I have the time to read a little each day.

Just finished Mary Kay Andrews Ladies Night. She's funny and I love her characters!!!

Sarah Jio. Just finished The Last Camellia and it was great.

Lisa Gardner, Susan Wiggs, Barbara Freethy, Carla Neggers, Heather Graham, Karen White are all good beach reads too!!!

Susanna Kearsley is wonderful but not as much of a beach read. More Historical Fiction. I just read The Winter Sea, The Firebird and am now reading The Shadowy Horses. It's been so cold here in Northern CA I don't need a beach read....lol
