Has anyone else read this book?  It was enjoyable to pick up a quick read.  Typical book club book I would say.  The setting is the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Since I enjoyed the writing of this author, I picked up her second book "Big Cherry Holler" (which is a sequel to Big Stone Gap) and I am having a difficult time getting into it.

Is anyone reading a book you just cannot put down?

I guess I am that way with many of my books.  One book that I really enjoyed but others have not seemed to be excited about it was MERLE'S  DOOR.  It is about a dog that was found on an Indian Reservation and taken home by the man who wrote the book.  Seems biographical.  And of course, I love all of Dean Koontz's book.  The latest was 77 SHADOW STREET and is his typical type of mystery.  Coming out this summer with another book in the Odd Thomas series, which I also love.  Easy quick read and definitely his style.

thanks for the suggestions Lynda.  I have not read Koontz in quite a while.

I've read the series. Easy reading and it was interesting to follow the characters.

My favorite Trigiani is Lucia, Lucia.
