I agree with you on the Target. My husband generally reads the best sellers as they come out and then passes them to me if he thinks I might enjoy. I do not read as much as he does because I also love to play bridge and that keeps me busy when I am not working around the home, the yard and taking care of the doods! So much to do, too little time!
A quick easy read by Jacqueline Sheehan, but I am enjoying it. Picture This. She also wrote Lost and Found.
I got two new books this weekend - Written in My Own Heart's Blood by Diana Gabaldon and The Target by David Baldacci. Good reading ahead. Still have to reread The Fiery Cross also by Diana Gabaldon, before the series comes out in August.
I am reading "The Space Between" by Diana Gabaldon first before I read My Own Hearts Blood.
The Space Between? I haven't heard of it and I thought I knew about all her books.
It's a little 100 page Novella about Jamie's daughter Joan (Loghaire's daughter) and Matthew, his nephew. Set in Paris. Maybe it's only in ebook format
Thanks.
Just finished The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon (second reading) and her new book Moby so am ready for the series on television that starts on August 9. I just love the characters Claire and Jaime so can't wait to see the series. Also just received The Book of Life, the third book in the trilogy by Deborah Harkness, and can't wait to get it started. So much great reading out there.
"The Rosie Project" by Graeme Simsion. Just started it and I'm totally entranced. Funny, smart, offbeat, and engaging; I highly recommend it.
F, this one is definitely for you!
It's the story of a professor who has Asperger's but doesn't know he does, and his very unusual method of finding a "suitable" wife.
