Oh yeah, I have read about everything by Dean Koontz.  Right now I am reading Sieze the Night.  I like the way he works dogs into many of his themes.  He is a real Golden Retriever lover.

Did you like Whispers? Do you recall if it was one of his better ones? (I LOVED Watchers, Strangers and Lightning.) I'm thinking about purchasing it as an iBook for my iPad. :)

Yesterday I added "A Dog's Purpose" and"Women's Bodies Women's Wisdom" by Christiane Northrup, M.D. to my iPad library. I LOVE being able to read books this way! :)

I know I read Whispers, but I really don't remember much about it, so I would say it is probably not one of his best. His books that I really liked are Breathless, The Darkest Evening of the Year,  From the Corner of his Eye, Relentless, and any of the Odd series (there are several).  I haven't seen the list of books that are available for iPad, but I want to start using my iPad also and will look for books by Koontz that I haven't read.  You might also like the books by Paulo Coelho, another of my favorite authors, but more metaphysical in nature.  I would say that Koontz and Coelho are my favorite authors and I read anything they have written.
I'm taking my iPad with me on a week-long trip to the East Coast and have added some reading on it for the plane trip.  I'll let you know how it goes.
Where are you heading, if you want to let us know? It is just gorgeous here in NJ near NYC right now. Everything is blooming and the weather is, dare I say, glorious!
I'm going to Cape May to spend a few days with my cousin and then we are going over to Richmond for my son's graduate art show.  He is getting his MFA in glass blowing from VCU. The show will be up from May 6 to May 14 if you are in the area.  Can't wait to be on the East Coast again.  It has been many years.

Cape May is lovely. I would love to see the show, unfortunately I am  no where near Virginia. I live about as far north as you can be in NJ. Enjoy your trip and congratulations on your son's graduation and show.

I am reading The Search by Nora Roberts. It is a mystery/romance about a woman who trains dogs, does search and rescue, and has three loyal labs. So far, I am really enjoying this book.
I loved that book!
On the advice of some of you here I am reading A Dog's Purpose. Very good, easy and fast read. I needed something not to taxing for this week.
Here's a funny one for you.  I have been reading One Nation Under Dog  and it has a lot of dog information but I found a section about "Municipal Dog Court" in none other than our very own San Francisco.  I didn't realize that the dog friendly city of San Francisco has a special court for dog offenders.  Another thing about S.F., there are more dogs than children in that city.
I just finished a memoir called "Dog Years" by Mark Doty, it was very inetresting and insightful, but not totally the "heart-warming" dog book I had expected! But I still highly recomend it!
