Chloe and pens or pins..

I noticed that one of the pictures in the slide show shows a dog, happily with a red pen. It freaked me out as I didn't remember sending in that picture of Chloe. Then I realized it was NOT CHloe, but was a look alike with her favorite taste treat. A pen...and red is her real fav....It scared me to death one night, as I was sewing, and not paying atention to her...she brought me something as she so loves to do, and I ignored her for a minute...then she came back a few moments later. And this time I PAID attention. She happily showed me a chewed to shards pen. I didn't even know it was red ink, as I thought it was blood! Realized it was ink, looked up on internet (at 2am) if poisonous...didn't seem to be...Spent the next few hours cleaning her, and geting a little off of a dark (thank goodness) rug.
She loves straight pens, safety pens (when open) , pens...anything hard, sticky and dangerous. She shows me...She grins as she does it, flashing the straight pen at me, held between her WHITE teeth. Funny, huh? Always when I am busy doing something that does not involve her.

Yep, these doodles are the same as toddlers. You can't leave them alone for a minute. They will find all kinds of things of interest to them. The younger they are, the more interested they are in anything new.

I will say though, that Chloe doesn't chew on 'bad' things when I am not here. Nor does she really chew on them when I am here...UNLESS I ignore her when she comes over to show me what she has clasped between her teeth. She opens and closes her mouth, to show me...with a devilish grin on her face. I'd better go over to her, try to cach her, and open her mouth, where I retrieve a dime, or an earring back, or a straight pin, or even (thank GOODNESS ) a twig.
She does it to get my attention.
Bridget the older one never did anything like that.
Chloe is a HILARIOUS and she knows it...and alas, the whole thing is repeated again, because she had so much FUN, and she thinks I did too.
