pet insurance
Does anyone have experience with Pet Insurance?
I am thinking of getting it but I fear they will find a way not to pay if I ever need to use it...
Maybe I have trust issues..

I did purchase a policy witht PetPlan with a higher deductible, mostly to protect me in the event of a serious illness. I have it for both of my Doodles. I have only had one incident where the vet & med expenses went over the deductible, and the insurance actually kicked in. As long as you carefully read the policy, focusing on the Exclusions, you should be fine. If you understand exactly what your policy is covering (and not covering), and make your decision based on that, there shouldn't be any surprises down the road. There are several prior discussions that you can search on to get a great understanding of the different companies and plans.

Do you always pay first and get "Reimbursed" after the fact?

Yes, you pay and then submit the paperwork and they reimburse you.
