I have left my magic notes on the front page for staining. ha ha ha.... but I use Stazko products.. they have a fab 5 minute conditioner. I follow the advice of my breeder - who happens to head the DK grooming group. She taught me about using a higher powered blow dryer to blow the dogs off instead of having to wash them all the time. It really works on my white girl... it's amazing. I also give the girls some sort of oil daily-ish to help their coats. We live in a dry area. SO they get either fish oil or flax every day. My dogs are out door dogs so I don't worry so much about how clean they are. It never ceases to amaze me how I put my white girl to bed BROWN and she wakes up white in the morning.
Les Pooches Brushes are the best.. I have the matt buster and another one... am looking to buy the puppy one as well.
Yeah, it's sad when other's ignore people! I guess the way I do it now IS the best because no-one has anything better. I use Crystal Eyes on any tearstains that creep up and a Whitening Shampoo that I buy at Petco. This seems to work fine. I also have them groomed once a month in the warm months and every 6 weeks in the winter. Sometimes I will put some of the Whitening Shampoo on a wash cloth and spot clean a dirty beard or spot. Sorry for your not being answered, it's me and not you. Thanks, Stephanie, Nancy and Trina.
Trina, Try the Perfect Coat brand from at Petsmart. They have one for light colored dogs. I've been using it on Gus and Lilly for a couple years now. It also has a nice scent to it.
Thank you ! I'm glad to get some info :D I just read this comment now! hehehe. I'm so worried about Toka having stains around his eyes and mouth. I want him to look nice as much as possible :D
I use Cowboy Magic Shampoo and also their conditioner. Actually it is horse shampoo. It gets Cody very clean and soft. After an hour at a dog park he is really dirty but magically his paws get clean without brushing. I just can't seem to keep his face clean. It is always dirty. When I try washing it with a washcloth, he tries to eat the cloth.
