Hi Carolyn,
We've had invisible fences first on our home on the 9th fairway of a golf course, and then on a home that backed to an empty lot with plenty of raccoons, deer, bunnies, etc. We had Corgis at the time. And now, in central Austin, our neighbor has an invisible fence for their Corgi, facing on a road with many people walking their dogs, cars, cyclists, etc., that is, lots of stimuli. In our experience, invisible fences are wonderful. We haven't needed an invisible in fence in Austin for our Doodle because we're out with him in the front where it's not fenced, and we've trained him to stay with us. But as smart and compliant as Doodles are, I'd imagine that they'd adapt to invisible fences beautifully.
