Make that expensive doodle shampoo last much longer!

This isn't really a DIY project, although it does have a few "steps". In an effort to make Lucies "more expensive than mine" shampoo last longer, I followed another example I had seen online to use a "foam handsoap" dispenser to make a little shampoo go a long way!

 

Here is what I did:

Take a foaming handsoap dispenser (lots of different brands in stores) preferrably one that you have used all the soap out of and rinse it well.

 

Add about 1/4 dog shampoo (more or less depending on how concentrated your preferred kind is) and fill the rest with water. Shake gently to mix together.

 

Thats it! I have found that 1 bottle of shampoo lasts 3 x as long than before, which makes me very :) It also cuts down on using more than you need, which just leads to a longer more frustrating rinse time. 

 

The brand of shampoo I use and swear by is Buddy Wash by Cloud Star. I haven't tried it with any others but it is a very think moisturizing shampoo. Most importantly it expertly clings to dirt and actually removes it from the fur, meaning less knots, mats and tangles and a happier doodle who gets to avoid the evil brush more.

I reccomend using Minksheen it smells great and the smell lasts like 4 days if you was well.
