I was wondering if it's bad for their skin under it to have it always moist, you know?
I am going to get her chin area cut really short next time...
Yes, Chewie is always wet from drinking...and sometimes even wetter from playing in his water bowl. LOL. I read somewhere that using a water bottle on a stand helps with this. I guess not a big deal...can't think of a "cuter" reason for my floor to be wet.
Cagney loves to drink his water and then dry his face off on my leg... no one else ...just mine...nothing like wetness running into your shoes!
OFLMAO!
Our Shandy always has a wet beard, but if you saw her drink her water, you would understand why. For some reason when she walks away from the bowl, it's like she lets the remaining water run out of her mouth. I have to put towels by the window sills as she has made water spots. The only problem is Lola, the other doodle likes to steal the towels from the window sills and parade around the house with them.
Brody drinks water like it'ss going out of style. You'd think he spent a week in the desert. With that said, he does always have a wet beard. I guess it's just a doodle-thing.
I just asked this same question on Cream/White doodle board. I am constantly drying my doodle's face! I want to know why it's stained like it is...
Yes, Ozzy always has a wet chin, you know when he just got a drink......also my kitchen floor seems to always be wet too as he walks away from the bowl before he is finished drinking...
Same thing with Guinness, and now he runs for the hills after he finishes drinking to avoid the face wiping. I don't really mind that his beard is wet, but it always seems really slimy. Yuck! But I still love the kisses.
Marlow always has a wet chin too! His favorite evening pass time is to drink water and come lay his head on my husband's chest while he is stretched out on the sofa.....lol.
Yes. He looks like to drool and drip all over you too so you know that he just took a drink. He used to rest his paw in the water dish like he was trying to hold it so it wouldn't tip over.
Yeah...pretty much always except first thing in the morning after a night of drying. Drives me batty. He also likes to drink water and then come lay his head on my lap.
