Does your doodle lie on the floor with his hind legs spread like a frog?

I think a lot of them do this; with their private parts on the ground. Or maybe it's just those in these warm climates, to kind of cool them off. LOL

Becket lies like a frog a lot. And we don't live in a warm climate, it's about 10 degrees out right now!! :) I thought it was just a puppy thing. But he's over 9 months old and still lies that way.

/Samantha did but hasn'tit quite awhile. She loves to sleep on her back, head and front legs to the side and spread eagle!

Elmo does this, on the carpet, on grass, and most annoyingly, on the sand at the winter side of the dog park. He gets filthy but looks so happy! People just laugh at him as his tail wags away. I think they are glad they don't have to give him a bath!

Beckett also sleeps like that sometimes. We call it the doodle pose! From what I read here a lot of doodles sleep that way.

My doodle, Cooper, does this. We call it his frog impersonation!

My doodle, Buddy, does that all the time. He is either laying like that or stretched out on his side. The problem is my home goes from wood to rugs. He is 15 months now and still can't get his footing on the wood floors. He has a lot of Bambi on the ice moments. My Lhasapoo does it too!

Well, I just looked back at this and now we have a goldendoodle that does this, although Fenway still doesn't!

Halas would lay like this a lot when he was younger. He doesn't do it quite as much now. But he does still do the doodle pose - on his back, spread eagle. I can't believe how flat they can make themselves in these froggy and doodle poses.

Cali sleeps like this all the time. I think she is most comfortable sleeping this way.

Riley does that too. I think it is adorable. I kind of hope he never stops doing it since it is so cute.

I first noticed this as a peculiar behavior in Duff's older brother when he was a puppy. Then I saw Duff doing it. It's hilarious to me; it's like they are double jointed or something.
