This is one of Talullah's favorite things to do to me. She walks up behind me and gives me a shove to the hind quarters with her nose! She rarely does this to my husband. One time she goosed my sister; I told her to take it as a compliment!
Honey also "bumps the butt" as we say. (DD doesn't know the word goose.) It was hilarous, the first time my mom came for a visit and Honey did it to her! Being a great grandmother, she quickly looked around for the culprit and Honey looked innocent. : )
It seems my Lily does all the mischevious things listed in this group! This one is no exception. It's the way she greets me when I first get up in the morning so I don't know why it catches me off guard every time but it does. It's very similar to the way dogs greet each other but sometimes I think she is prodding to get my attention for other reasons. Anyway it's a funny thing she and evidently a lot of other doodles do that make her so lovable.
Fenway's not quite tall enough to goose either of us, but she pokes us with her nose anyway. She is most persistent when she wants to be petted or wants us to throw her ball and will shove her nose into you or under your hand depending on her needs. Dustin is much more of a gooser and loves to goose if given a chance. He also loves walking between men's legs from behind. He'll just shove right through and poke his head out the front and wait n you to pet him. Funny that he only does this to men though. Wonder what that means?
Oh my goodness, I LOVE this site! I laughed so hard at your post I almost cried. Dakota does the same thing, but only to me. I'm going to have to remember your remark to your sister if she ever decides to grace somebody else with her 'arse gooses' :)
