Gracie has a permanently dirty beard since she is such a tomboy. She is a cream or very light apricot. I have read about the Blueberry Facial for cleaning that area and an acquantance has also recommended a Plum Perfect Facial Cleaner but have not tried either product yet. Now we are having allergy issues where she is chewing on her feet and legs. This has become stained a reddish color. We have been to the vet and are treating this condition (there is no infection in those areas). Does anyone know if the blueberry facial might clean that sort of stain as well? I woiuld like to try to clean the area as/after it heals.

Well, I guess I will just be patient and wait for the allergies to be under control. Eventually the hair on her legs will grow out. I hesitate to give her anything internally. We are on a food trial right now so I must be careful about what she ingests. Your explanation makes sense, after all the stains look like rust.
Angel eyes is very good. My friend has a Malti-poo and uses it - Very sucsseful. It is a powder that goes in the food initially - more frequent - maintenance is twice a week. I always worry about putting something in the food.
I don't know if this is related to you but a friend of mine's dog had the same problem with the licking and pink feet. It turned out to be an allergy to the food they gave her. Changed the food and the feet cleared up. Just thought I'd put that out there.
Thanks, that is exactly while we are now on a Dr prescribed food trial, to see if all this clears up.
Hi Tammy - Did the change in food clear up the stains?
Well, we don't know yet. The vet said it would take a full 8 weeks. It's only been 3. It is really difficult. She can only have venison and potato food. I have found organic venison jerky to use as training treats. The problem is, the rest of the world that don't understand how important it is that she have not a bite of anything else. But to shorten, yes. She is still scratching some but almost all of her sores have healed. Another month to go!

The stains, well, I may have her shaved pretty soon to just clear up the stains. They are all not fading or anything, so removing the hair is my option.
I've been down the road with the food trials. It is hard - one really has to be fanatical and other people do NOT understand. Good luck - glad to hear it looks like it is clearing up.
