I'm looking to upgrade my clippers to something a little more robust, but i'm not sure where to start.  I have been grooming Bert myself since puppyhood using the Wahl Arco cordless and it's ~fine~ but it just takes sooooo looooong.  I think it's a bit small, and i end up having to go over the same spot a ton of times and there are still a lot of stragglers left behind.

I'm willing to spend a couple hundred bucks for something that speeds up the process and comes out looking tidy.  Bert is a pretty good sport but after about an hour we both get pretty sick of it!  Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Okay so I am getting ready to order the Andis, what else do I need to ensure an clean accurate cut?  I see it comes with a blade, do I need the combs, if so I see magnetic vs metal vs ceramic?  I have blades from the Oster but no idea if they would fit, they are old and plastic? I also see talk about cooling spray?  I'm guessing I'd be safe to use the oil I have for my Oster or is the oil for Andis different?  Thanks, she desperately needs a trim, hasn't had one since last June and she's looking a bit frazzled. As much as I love and want the long hair look it doesn't look good on her so I keep her a bit shorter, her coat is very odd and grows really slowly.  Like I said above she hasn't been groomed since June and at the longest she is maybe 3"?  TIA
