Hello!  I decided to groom my new pup Harper myself.  I have already purchased the dryer, clipper... My last purchase is a grooming table, but have been holding off because I just don't know the best size for her.  She will be 65-70 pounds full grown.  I am looking at the R Rover adjustable table with grooming arm. I am attaching an image with the various dimensions. I am not sure which one to choose  The 36x20 table is 30 inches high and the 44x24 table is 26 inches high.  I called them and the height of the grooming arm is 36 inches.  Do you think that is high enough?  My other option is to just build the table myself and order a longer adjustable grooming arm that adjusts to 48 inches.  Thanks so much! I just don't want to order it and have it not be the right size for her.

I groom on any table and just use an arm that helps hold their hips up so they don't keep trying to sit. Based only on that I would definitely look at a higher table like the 30".

I have this table:     https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DX3R09K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_...

The dimensions are 36"L x 24"W x 31"H and the grooming arm adjusts to 40."   The size is perfect for my 55 and 60lb dogs- I wouldn't want it any smaller in size or shorter in height. Honestly, though, I don't even use the arm as they are so good about standing still that I don't bother with it.

My doodles are 75 and 90 pounds. I use a large folding table from Costco with a yoga mat on it. The yoga mat is to keep the dogs from slipping and works like magic!  I don't use an arm but I wish I had one. I am just not sure the table you are looking at will be big enough for your dog. The process is lengthy and my guys seem to need to move a bit. They are both easy to groom as far as staying quite still while standing, sitting or laying down. Maybe someone who has a table like that will respond so you can get a good idea if it will work for a large dog.

Thanks so much.. Maybe I will try a table first with a yoga mat on it.  Maybe she won't even need an arm!

Haley is 65 pounds.  I bought a hydraulic lift table from Harbor Freight Tools.  My DH bolted a 24"X48" piece of particle board to it; beveled the edges and put a clear finish on the particle board.  Until recently I used  a 48 inch grooming arm but Haley really doesn't need it and for me it just gets in the way.  For a while I used a rubber backed carpet door mat but now have a grooming mat. With the table lowered Haley steps on it and I then pump it up to whatever height I need at the moment. I love that I can adjust the height of the table and never have to bend over.  It's a real back saver.  I have the table in my craft studio where I groom Haley.
