Les Poochs Brush - GREEN VS PURPLE

Can someone please tell me the difference between the Les Poochs
Green and Purple brushes?  I know green is supposed to be Medium and purple is supposed to be Firm.  What does that mean?  Is the firm going to be rougher on the skin?  How do you decide what brush is right for you if you don't have access to them to try them out first?  On the Les Pooch site it says Green is for poodles and Purple is for golden retrievers....When you have a goldendoodle...which do you choose?

Of course! I think Ned has turned the corner on the mat situation (knock on wood) He still need mucho brushing but less often - about twice a week AND (drum roll) we seem to be able to brush and comb through his coat. I now call them tangles = because, like your hair, you can brush or comb them out. His coat is NOT silky (our Springer is silky) and it is coarser than it was, but it is still soft.

I have the purple which is way too rough for my Gracie Doodle. I ordered a green brush a few weeks ago and it is on back order. I just received another notice from Kemp that it is still delayed. So, if any of you are wanting to order a green brush, you might want to get your order in so you will be in line for when they finally arrive!!

I found the MGT brush for you to try on Gracie. Now I just have to remember to bring it to the romp on Saturday.
